Homework Folder
Homework is individualized to each student in class. It is given on Monday and is due back to school on Friday, each week. There are 4 tasks that should be completed:
1. Reading-Students will receive one to two Reading pages to complete that review and reinforce their learning from the previous week.
2. Math-Students will receive one to two Math pages to complete that also review and reinforce their learning from the previous week.
3. Writing-Students choose a writing topic (from the list in their Homework Folder) and complete it, based on their recommended means of completion.

a. Writing each word three times each.
b. Writing each word in a complete sentence.

Classwork Folder
Each student has a classwork folder that goes home every Friday. The folder contains all of their excellent work that they have completed throughout the week. Your job is to check their work, remove it from the folder, and initial and date the inside of the folder. Your initials let me know that you have seen all of their hard work! When your child brings back their Classwork Folder on Monday, empty and initialed, they receive a sticker!
